GOVERNANCE CERTIFICATES
5W1H Agent Governance Certificate
Every governed agent receives a numbered, cryptographically signed certificate — publicly verifiable by anyone.
How it works
RANKIGI issues numbered Agent Governance Certificates in the format RNK-YYYY-NNNNN. Each certificate answers six governance dimensions — WHO (human accountability), WHAT (declared scope), WHEN (activity and audit trail), WHERE (environment and framework), WHY (intent chain coverage), and HOW (policy compliance status). The certificate is cryptographically signed using SHA-256 and is publicly verifiable at rankigi.com/certificate/[number] without requiring a RANKIGI account. Certificates expire annually and must be renewed. Revoked certificates are permanently recorded in the audit trail.
Technical details
Certificate hash = SHA-256(canonical_json(all certificate fields)). Certificate number format: RNK-YYYY-NNNNN sequential. Six dimension scores each 0-100. Overall score = weighted average: WHO 25% + WHAT 20% + WHEN 15% + WHERE 15% + WHY 15% + HOW 10%.
